Community Impact

  2. Community Impact

At the heart of what we do, is the guiding principle to support, enhance and uplift New Mexico. It is vital to all of us at Geltmore that we create places and develop unique spaces that are positively affecting the experiences of New Mexico residents.

We pursue projects in urban areas that are walkable, chock full of amenities, and located near transportation, educational institutions, and employment. In an environment where institutional owners dominate the national real estate market, we pride ourselves on having…

…an innate understanding of our local market

…a reputation of solving complex challenges

…authentic relationships

…and being a strong community partner.

…not to mention, being VERY FUN to work with

It is important to us that our projects and investments support the diversification of the private sector. We take a leadership role in diversification by investing in our community through angel investments through the Verge Fund, ABQid, and in partnership with the BioScience Center and New Mexico Tech.

Geltmore is helping fund the development of companies that will grow and expand our tax base while providing job opportunities for future generations. These investments will inevitably lead to future real estate needs that we will be very interested in helping accommodate.

In addition to investing in the growth and diversification of the state’s private sector, we focus on other types of non-traditional economic development projects that supplement the work of the private sector.

We are able to focus on policy and advocacy by being members of the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, NAIOP NM, CARNM, ICSC, AREA, Leadership New Mexico, Leadership Albuquerque, New Mexico Angels, New Mexico Amigos, Downtown ABQ Main Street, Uptown Progress Team, and Congregation Albert.

Our values and work extend beyond real estate, we want our state to succeed, and grow exponentially. At Geltmore, we invest in economic growth so in return it will provide the long-term benefits of vibrancy, sustainability, and wealth for the state.
