  2. About Us

In 1972, Geltmore’s CEO, Paul Silverman, became the sixth man to be hired in the Coldwell Banker Commercial Brokerage Company in Dallas, Texas. After three years of good success in retail leasing and land brokerage, Paul and his brother Harry, formed Geltmore Oil Co. in 1975 to acquire an existing business on the Intercoastal Waterway in Surfside, Texas.

What was originally a tugboat filling station became a Texaco Marine distributorship that expanded into an oil field service business providing petroleum products to not only the marine business, but also the offshore and onshore oil exploration business. It was here that Paul started his career in economic development.

Now, Paul has grown Geltmore into a successful and community-driven company in partnership with his two sons, Adam and David Silverman. Located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Geltmore has invested over $600 million in New Mexico’s economy.

Mission

Geltmore’s mission is to support the growth of New Mexico through holistic solutions for long-term economic development, strategic planning, and local business investment.

Vision

Geltmore’s vision is to be a catalyst for lasting transformation in New Mexico. As longtime investors and business developers, we know that we are only as good as our community.

Paul Silverman

CEO & Manager

A veteran of four decades in the business, Paul lives and breathes real estate – it is truly his passion. Paul has never approached one day in the business as a job. His experience in business development far exceeds the experience of  many developers in New Mexico.

Never one to be constrained by boundaries, Paul has been involved in development throughout the Southwest for decades. Actively involved in real estate development in Asia from 2002 to 2010, Paul had a very successful self-storage business in Singapore and two years of exposure to real estate development in China. His legacy of development projects includes every type of real estate activity as well as ownership in several different operating companies with a focus in real estate.

Additionally, in an effort to help kick start the private sector, Paul is an active investor in a portfolio of startup opportunities in New Mexico. When not working on the day-to-day development operations, Paul devotes a large amount of time serving in various leadership roles for national and local organizations that benefit both the real estate industry and the community. Paul is proud to be followed in the business by his two sons who will take the company to even larger successes in the next four decades.
